A potent cold front has dropped our temperatures significantly, as well as brought us some much needed rain. That rain will end this afternoon with sharply cooler upper 50s to low 60s. A northerly breeze will also bring in cooler and drier air later in the day. As clouds decrease overnight, we'll drop to the upper 30s to low 40s. Showers end this morning with lots of clouds and a brisk southerly breeze for the rest of the day. Temperatures will surge into the mid to upper 60s. Mostly cloudy conditions hold overnight with very mild mid 50s. That's about 15 degrees above our normal of 40 degrees for this time of year. The clouds may break up a little bit overnight. That means some of us may see some sunshine Saturday morning. Temperatures Saturday will start in the 50s, and work into the 70s ahead of some rain and thunder that will develop. Some heavy rain will be possible Saturday night, through Sunday morning.
