A PhD student from the University of Limerick says she is ‘thrilled’ to have won a unique competition which challenges participants to communicate years of research in just three minutes. AI company Anthropic has a PhD philosopher who’s teaching the artificial intelligence how to “think” and act with good character. Philosopher Amanda Askell tells 60 Minutes she is optimistic she can help AI be ethical.
