Emergency repairs are underway for a handful of schools as the Clark County School District seeks to upgrade heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and replace roofs.

A program that promised schools upgraded AC systems was cut short in 2024, leaving hundreds of districts with broken systems and no money to fix them.
