Amazon Web Services (AWS) is facing a widespread outage disrupting a number of the world's most popular websites, platforms and games. Down Detector reported outages affecting major games including Clash Royale, Roblox, Pokémon Go, and Fortnite.

Roblox (NYSE:RBLX) was in the spotlight after a major Amazon Web Services outage caused downtime for its global user base. The outage affected gameplay for millions and highlighted risks tied to cloud infrastructure.

A huge number of websites and games are experiencing outages today (Monday 20th October), including platforms such as Roblox and Fortnite. The source of the issues appears to stem from Amazon’s cloud computing platform, Amazon Web Services (AWS), which hosts many of the world's platforms, including banking services.
