Before dissolving into the "I am a failure" loop, Gemini complained that it had "been a long and arduous debugging session" and that it had "tried everything I can think of" but couldn't fix the problem in the code it was trying to write.

Gemini has been acting strangely for some users over the past few weeks. There are multiple reports online of users getting responses from Gemini that are oddly self-flagellating. A screenshot from an X user back in June showed Gemini saying
