In Paint Shop Pro, transparent overlays are layers you place over JPEG images you want to paint on or edit. Layers are virtual transparencies that make complex but easily editable images possible.
There are two ways to make a background transparent in Photoshop: using the "Remove Background" quick action or manually by using selection tools.
